Dr Priya Bahal is a Specialist in Periodontology with advanced postgraduate training from King’s College London, where she completed a Master’s degree in Periodontology.

She qualified as a dentist from the University of Bristol in 2010 and developed an early clinical interest in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease. She has since gained extensive experience across general dental practice and hospital-based roles in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry throughout the UK.

Priya also holds Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, reflecting her strong commitment to postgraduate training and clinical excellence.

She has a robust academic and research background, completing a research Master’s degree at the University of Bristol focused on dentine hypersensitivity. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed dental journals, and she has received an international European research award for her work on the management of Grade III furcation involvement.
